Crow Castle

Matsumoto, a beautiful city bordering the Japanese Alps northbound, provided a breath of fresh air. Pictured is Matsumotojo (also known informally as Crow Castle due to its black exterior) - one of the original castles still remaining in Japan. We were fortunate enough to become acquainted with a local teacher who gave us a tour of the castle, revealing its secrets to us outsiders.
