Sunset over the Emerald City
Seattle, also known colloquially as the Emerald City, was the first US city I visited on my West Coast US road trip. I remember looking for the highest area possible above the pier; the view I was rewarded with is what is pictured in the photograph. If you look carefully, you can see Mount Rainier in the background of this photograph - the next stop on my road trip.
